Saturday Bands at Fat Eddie’s

Make Fat Eddie’s your Saturday Festival hub for an afternoon and evening of big band jazz, pizza, drinks and plenty of action. Catch live big bands throughout the afternoon, and also join the spectacular Jazz Parade at 1.30pm as it makes its way from Fat Eddie’s to Cathedral Square. Want to get moving? The Swingtown Rebels will be offering a free swing dance taster class at 4.30pm, giving you the chance to learn a few moves and put them to good use throughout the weekend. There’s plenty of time to enjoy the music, food and dancing before heading to the Isaac Theatre Royal for the Christchurch Big Band Jazz Festival’s Big Band Birthday Bash, featuring the Symposium Big Band and All Girl Big Band.
