Asheville Swing Night - Swing Dance and Lesson

Join us on the second Friday of every month for an evening of swing dancing, great music, and a welcoming community at the beautiful Haw Creek Commons in East Asheville. Whether you're an experienced swing dancer looking for a lively dance floor or you're curious about trying swing dancing for the first time, there's a place for you here! We play a fun mix of music you can swing dance to, from classic favorites to more modern jazz musicians, with plenty of opportunities to dance Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Charleston, and Balboa. 🕖 7:00 - 8:00 PM - Beginner-friendly swing dance lesson 🎶 8:00 - 10:30 PM – Social dance with DJ 💲 $10 admission includes lesson + dance (cash or Venmo) ✅ No partner necessary 🚪 Doors open at 6:45 PM 👥 Ages 12+ 🚗 PARKING 🚗 We have a large onsite parking lot. If it's full, overflow parking is at Haw Creek Elementary School. Then please walk across the field to our dance. ABOUT ASHEVILLE SWING NIGHT Asheville Swing Night is an independently run dance. Our mission is to grow the local swing dance community by offering regular dances and swing dance lessons in a warm, welcoming environment. ABOUT THE VENUE - HAW CREEK COMMONS A beautifully restored historic building featuring: ✔ Real wood floors ✔ Plenty of space to dance ✔ Air conditioning & ceiling fans ✔ On-site parking FOOD & BEVERAGES No alcohol is allowed by the venue, but feel free to bring your own snacks or non-alcoholic drinks. There is a water fountain in the hall by the bathrooms. Please help keep the space clean by using the provided trash bins.
