Sunday Swing Dancing w/ “Dorian Mode”

🎷 Featuring live music by The doRiaN Mode 🎷 The doRiaN Mode explores the Great American Songbook as it dishes up vintage jazz, swinging R&B, and soulful ballads, from the sounds of 1920s speakeasies and 1930s big-band swing to 1940s jump blues and the rollicking R&B of Ruth Brown. Vocalist and bassist Dorian Bartley leads this Petaluma-based acoustic quartet featuring Robby Elfman on piano/clarinet, Peter Graves on sax, and Tony Blake on drums. Whether they’re stomping at the Savoy in salute to Count Basie or paying homage to R&B legend Etta James, the doRiaN Mode brings elegance to classic American music. 💃🏻 Jasmine Worrell, the Bay Area’s top swing dance instructor, will offer a class from 4:15 – 5:00 👯 Followed by live music and an open dance floor until 7:00 PM 🎟️ $25 for admission includes the class — cash at the door. Kids 12 and under are free. 🕺🏾 All skill levels welcome; no partner required. See you on the dance floor!
