Valley Jive Heroes & Villains November Dance

📅 Saturday 7th November 2026 Two days after Guy Fawkes Night, we’re asking the important question… Was Guy Fawkes a HERO… or a VILLAIN? 🤔🔥 Well, on Saturday 7th November, YOU get to decide! Our next Valley Jive First Saturday is HEROES & VILLAINS NIGHT — with a little Bonfire Night flavour thrown in for good measure. 🎆🧨 🦸 Fancy dress is OPTIONAL — but if you fancy joining in, the possibilities are endless… HEROES could include: 🦸 Superman 🦇 Batman 👸 Wonder Woman 🏹 Robin Hood 🤠 The Lone Ranger 🕵️ James Bond 👮 Your local bobby 🧑‍🚒 A firefighter 🩺 A doctor or nurse …or simply the person who brings me a cup of tea while I’m DJing. 😂 And then there are the VILLAINS… 😈 🧛 Dracula 🏴‍☠️ A pirate 🦹 The Joker 🧙 A wicked witch 🥷 A masked robber 🤠 The black-hatted cowboy 💰 A bank manager 🚗 A traffic warden 📨 The person who sends you a letter from HMRC 🎧 …or a DJ who plays YMCA at a Rock ’n’ Roll dance! 😱😂 Come as a hero, come as a villain, come as yourself — we promise not to conduct background checks at the door. 🎶 VALLEY JIVE 📍 Machen Workingmen’s Club – Top Club 🚪 Doors open 7:00pm 💃 Dancing 7:30pm – 11:45pm 💷 £4 on the door 🍺 Bar until 11:30pm 🚗 FREE parking 😊 Friendly crowd 💃 No partner needed 👗 Fancy dress optional Expect great Rock ’n’ Roll, jiving, heroes, villains, fireworks and possibly a few people whose costume leaves us completely baffled. 😂 🔥 Join the heroes, dodge the villains… and jive the night away! 🔥 See you on the dancefloor! 🎶💃🕺
