🎷 Learn 8-count Lindy Hop: A 4-week beginners swing dancing course 💃

We're teaching four weeks of Lindy Hop – a joyful partnered dance born in Harlem in the 1930s and performed to lively jazz music. Over four weeks, you'll learn the basic 8-count footwork, build up your repertoire of moves and put everything together into a mini dance routine. No experience needed and no need to bring a partner – come on your own or bring a friend. 📅 Every Thursday in October - 8 | 15 | 22| 29 🕡 6:30–7:30 pm 📍 Red Hot Arts, Mparntwe / Alice Springs 💰 $10 per class, pay on the door (cash or card) 👟 Comfortable closed-toe shoes and clothes you can move in ✨ How the course works This is a progressive four-week course, with each class building on what you've learned the week before. Weeks 1 and 2 are designed for complete beginners, so they're the perfect time to join. In weeks 3 and 4, we'll build on the basics and bring in some more complex moves and ideas. We encourage you to come along to as many classes as possible to get the most out of the course.
