Swing Dance Class with Lesta at Jamboree

This is a fun and friendly swing dance class with Lesta at Jamboree, taking place before The Cable Street Rag Band play their weekly Thursday set… facebook.com Every week will be a little bit different. This is a drop in open level class and no prior experience is required. There will be layers of complexity for the more experienced dancers that come. It is an inclusive class, and everyone is welcome! There is a cheaper online package deal for class + gig available, which can be purchased in advance. Or just drop in on the day, put £7 in the hat, and have a go! All class peeps get discount off the gig. With 16+ years on the swing scene, dancing, teaching, performing, and a lifetime love of dance, I will be sharing a unique blend of both my lived and professional dance experience. You may see the odd guest teacher too! The class will be a combination of partnered and solo, with a distinct flavour of swing sprinkled with a little dancehall, hip-hop, and a hell of a lot of groove. Then, if you fancy, you can have a boogie and bust out them new moves when the band play! Lovely food and drinks available too! Boom night sorted! This is a continuation of the previous class series; facebook.com
