LINDY HOP HEAVEN with the Castle Rock Jazz Band

Don't miss the Castle Rock Jazz Band! Swing dancers playing for Swing dancers. This sextet will bring you the very best of swinging Jazz, with classic standards from the 1930s and 1940s - all superbly performed. The band's line-up for the evening is Murray Wham on reeds, Adam Brouwers-Harries on saxophones, Fraser Hume on trumpet and as vocalist, Nicholas Franck on piano, Seamus Conacher on guitar and Andy Maine on double bass. The Edinburgh Jazz 'n Jive Club offers on Fridays live Jazz music in a relaxed club house atmosphere, with a bar and an excellent, wooden dance floor. The music is generally suitable for dancing Foxtrot and Swing (Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa). Come along to listen to superb Jazz and to dance the evening away! No need to book in advance, just come along! The entry fee is £16 for non-members and £13 for members. Entry is free for accompanying carers and accompanied children. The fee can be paid at the door by card and cash. The main entrance is from Bangholm Terrace, with step-free access from Warriston Gardens corner Inverleith Row.
