Beginner Lindy Hop

Instructors: Liliana & Sam Luna-Nelson Time: 7:30-8:30, Thurs in May Cover: $15/per lesson or $45 for the month Lindy Hop is the foundational swing dance style from African American roots in Harlem in the 1920s-30s. In this class, you will learn the iconic "swing out" and other 8-count moves. This is a great class for those who have taken a few of our Drop-In Beginner classes at 8:30 and are ready to level up their Lindy Hop. What is a "progressive" lesson? Progressive means that each class builds on the previous one. It is highly encouraged (but not required- we know sometimes things happen) that you plan to join for the whole month of lessons to keep up in class and to show respect to your fellow classmates (<< don't be THAT person ). Because you are committing to the month, we offer a discount for paying for the whole month at the first lesson. This price includes the drop-in lesson at 8:30, the DJ'd social dances AND band nights.
