Mt Victoria's Story connects back the arrival of the "Iron Horse" โ€“ the steam train in 1868, a village would soon grow. Sydneysiders were able to travel in comfort to the "Top of the Mountain" to enjoy the fresh air and mountain vistas. The Village grew and prospered through the Victorian and Edwardian period prior to the Great War. We'll journey back to colonial times, unravelling the origins of the village and immersing ourselves in the tales of holidaymakers and the locals who considered Mt Victoria their home. Our tour ends in the heart of the village giving you time to enjoy a wonderful lunch, the unique shops or explore more, as visitors have for over 150 years.
