Social Hangout #48: atelier d'improvisation vocale

Participez à ce Social Hangout pour développer la confiance, la présence, le groove, l’écoute et la créativité collective à travers l’improvisation vocale et le mouvement. L'objectif de cet atelier est de créer un espace où chacun peut explorer sa voix comme un instrument rythmique, expressif et relationnel. L’atelier combine du circle singing et de l'improvisation vocale guidée, l'exploration vocale individuelle et la connexion corps‑voix. Les techniques utilisées varieront entre jeux rythmiques, call and response et création collective spontanée en cercle. Cette activité est offerte par une membre de notre communauté, Andréanne Alain. À propos des Social Hangout : quelques jeudis de l'automne, nous vous proposons de partager un moment chaleureux pour échanger sur les aspects culturels des danses afro-descendantes en compagnie de personnes invitées et membres de la communauté. Nous ouvrons cet espace pour partager nos connaissances sur la culture du jazz, renforcer la compréhension de nos danses, socialiser entre pairs et développer un meilleur sentiment d'appartenance à la Communauté Cat's Corner. Visionnage de clips et de films, conversations ouvertes, potluck et friperie, pratiques ouvertes et jams de danse : l'automne sera doux chez Cat's Corner. *** Join this Social Hangout to develop confidence, presence, groove, listening, and collective creativity through vocal improvisation and simple, organic movement. We will create a space where participants can explore their voice as a rhythmic, expressive, and relational instrument. The workshop combines circle singing and guided vocal improvisation, individual vocal exploration, and the connection between body and voice. The techniques used will range from rhythmic games and call-and-response to spontaneous collective creation in a circle. This activity is led by a member of our community, Andréanne Alain. Free community activity, voluntary contributions appreciated. About Social Hangouts: one Thursday every now and then, we invite you to share a warm moment of exchange on the cultural aspects of Afro-descendant dances with guests and members of the community. We open this space to share our knowledge of jazz culture, strengthen understanding of our dances, socialize with peers and develop a greater sense of belonging to the Cat's Corner Community. Video and film screenings, open conversations, potluck and clothes swap, open practices and dance jams: it's going to be a sweet summer at Cat's Corner.
