FOXTROT Technical Intensive

This is NOT a Bootcamp! It’s a special program designed for dancers who want to go beyond simply learning more patterns and really dig into the technique of Foxtrot. Unlike our regular Group Series and workshops, this Intensive has its own format, pricing, and structure. Anyone who has successfully completed Foxtrot Core or the equivalent is welcome to enroll. However, please note that this program is designed to be challenging—even for experienced Foxtrot dancers. The focus will be on drilling and refining proper technique, with plenty of attention to the details that make Foxtrot look and feel smooth, effortless, and elegant. We’ll work on body movement, footwork, posture, connection, timing, and other technical elements, including some more advanced techniques that may be demanding for newer Foxtrot dancers. This Intensive is for dancers who love the details. If you’re excited by the idea of breaking down your technique, drilling it, refining it, and discovering what makes great Foxtrot work, this program is for you! Come ready to work, learn, and take your Foxtrot to the next level. REQUIREMENTS Instructor approval recommended. Successful completion of Foxtrot Core or equivalent experience. Dancers should be comfortable with basic Foxtrot patterns, timing, and partner connection. This is a technique-intensive program and is best suited for dancers who are ready to drill, refine, and receive detailed feedback on their technique.
