Join us during Black History Month and the 100th anniversary year of Lindy Hop for a celebration of Black British Lindy Hop and Vernacular Jazz on 3rd & 4th October 2026 in East London.

Through workshops and a cabaret, we'll celebrate Black British Lindy Hop and Vernacular Jazz, learn from trailblazers who have contributed to the UK and global swing scene, and showcase Black performers and dance artists.
- Share and acknowledge the contribution of Black British elders to the UK Lindy Hop and Jazz scene
- Showcase the talents of Black dancers, performers and educators in London in UK
- Provide a space for dancers to learn and connect with each other, primarily Black dancers in London
- Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Savoy Ballroom and UK Black History Month
This event is organised by Korantema Anyimadu and Stephen Atemie. They are both mentees of Angela Andrew and members of Cookie and Her Black Mambas (follow us on @blackmambasjazz and the event on @eotojazz).
Featuring Guests: Angela Andrew, Christine Checinska, Ryan Francois, Ron Leslie & Trisha Sewell.
This event is open to you wherever you are in your Lindy Hop and Jazz dance journey.
