Mersey Swing Smackdown 2026

Were you around for the Smackdown early years? We dusted off the old format last year and loved it so we're keeping the Smackdown to a one day wonder. This year we've added some tasty stretch goals, so book early, tell your mates, bring your nan, see if your cousin's free- coz it's gonna be a big ole party! Venues Workshops and social will be at St Bride's Church, Liverpool, L8 7LT After party venue at Brooklyn Mixer, 78 Seel St, Liverpool L1 4BH Tickets Early Bird prices until 30th April! Full Saturday Pass £30 includes all workshops, social dance and after party (plus lunch if we reach our final stretch goal!) She's taught Breaking at a couple of events and now she's bringing something different! Reggaeton originated in Panama but was popularised in Puerto Rico in the 1990s. The dance has elements of Dance Hall, Hip Hop and Latin styles and this class will give you everything you need to dance til the early hours at the after party! Classic Hollywood Dance Routine with John Learn a classic MGM Hollywood dance routine from 1937 with Mersey Swing's own John Daglish! Grab your mates and come up with a routine, do the Shim Sham to Mambo No.5, or wear matching leggings and swing out for whole song- whatever it is, we're on your team and we'll cheer dead loud for you!
